When Paula Vieira was, like all of us, forced into isolation during the pandemic she decided to create and not procrastinate. She revisited her treasure chest of collected stones, gathered together the finest pieces and designed a collection that celebrates our new dawn.
‘I believe the world has awoken to the fragility of our existence with a newfound appreciation of the smallest things, a hug, a smile, the kindest of a stranger – we took all of these things for granted but now we must realise that every moment should be cherished. This collection is a memento of that awakening and uses materials, stones that I already possessed in order to fashion pieces that will never be seen again.’
