That’s what the new PROMASTER SKY looks like! This watch features an imposing 47 mm-diameter steel case with a tapered case profile, which grants this watch lightness and comfort despite the generous dimensions of the case and bezel. A look that won’t go unnoticed on the wrist. The case features a rotating bezel with UTC graduation, enabling the approximate time in the major cities of the northern hemisphere (world clock). The numbers on the black outer crown at the 6 o’clock position indicate UTC time, and the bezel completes one full revolution in 24 hours. Imagine all that’s going on at different times and in different places around the world at this very moment.We love its black dial and touches of green, allowing optimal legibility! What’s more, the hands and dial are luminescent for high visibility in total darkness. Finally, a map of the northern hemisphere, specific to caliber H864, is engraved on the case back. A bonus for the exclusive pleasure of those who will wear this watch.A solar and radio-controlled caliber!Like almost all PROMASTER watches, this Geo Trekker is powered by light, an energy source accessible anywhere on earth. A feat made possible by Eco-Drive, CITIZEN’s light-powered technology. Eco-Drive generates energy even from weak lighting, and stores the surplus in a rechargeable battery. A single full charge keeps the watch running in total darkness for up to six months, so there’s no need to replace or recharge the battery.This version is equipped with caliber H864, a new movement whose name refers to the 86,400 seconds that make up a day. It features the following functions: Hours minutes seconds, world time at 6 o’clock with an AP/PM function at 9 o’clock. At 4 o’clock, a date window displays the days of the week, remaining charge level, insufficient charge warning and overcharge protection, with (ON) and (OFF) indicator lights for synchronization and deactivation of global radio signal reception at 12 o’clock. Everything is operated by two push-buttons. Finally, this caliber features a unique shock feedback function. The instant your watch is subjected to a shock or strong vibration, an electrical signal is sent to the motor, which momentarily locks the rotor to prevent the hands from moving. This operation takes barely a thousandth of a second, in other words, the watch has avoided any deviation and resumed indicating the exact time before you’ve even noticed the impact!
