Description

True to its pioneering spirit, OMEGA presents a new Seamaster Diver 300M in 2025, in an exclusive alloy with vintage charm! Bronze Gold, “Burgundy” aluminum bezel, mesh bracelet: a true “neo-retro” nugget!A legend since 19931993 is undoubtedly one of Omega’s most important dates: the launch of the very first Seamaster Diver 300M on the market! The launch marked Omega’s triumphant return to diving watches and proved that the brand’s ingenuity was more alive than ever. Positioned at the time as a refined, luxurious diver’s watch, it broke with the design language of the Seamaster 300 and 600 of previous decades, showing a revolution of sorts. Indeed, the changes and developments of the 1990s inspired new designs and propelled the brand into the spotlight. The chronograph version was even named Watch of the Year in 1994! The launch of the Seamaster Diver 300M also coincided with the brand’s new marketing strategy in the 1990s, aimed at breaking records and becoming a true icon, bringing Omega into the modern era with a vision full of fervor. As soon as it was launched, it accompanied Frenchman Roland Specker to a depth of 80 meters, setting the world record for freshwater free diving. In 1995, it marked a close relationship with the world of sailing when Sir Peter Blake, along with several sailors from the New Zealand team, wore the diver during their unforgettable victory in the America’s Cup. But it was the film GoldenEye that really propelled this watch to iconic status! For the first time, James Bond wears a Diver 300M on his wrist!A “Bronze Gold & Burgundy”The Seamaster Diver 300M remains one of OMEGA’s most famous and iconic watch collections. Now, in 2025, the brand unveils a new series of models in Bronze Gold, combining a spirit of adventure and high precision with an exclusive material design. These two new models, follow on from the titanium versions recently launched by the brand and offer enthusiasts another distinctive choice within the range. This new Diver 300M series moves away from the familiar ceramic styling of recent years and is instead inspired by the Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition, worn in the James Bond film, No Time to Die. In particular, this features the same domed sapphire crystal, which lends it a vintage aesthetic, and is presented on the same type of mesh bracelet as James Bond’s watch. This 42 mm model is here crafted in Bronze Gold, an exclusive OMEGA alloy that offers exceptional hue and aesthetics. Unique in its kind, it is composed of noble elements, including 37.5% gold (hallmarked 9K), palladium and silver, to create a unique color halfway between MoonshineTM 18K gold and the Maison’s SednaTM 18K gold. This Bronze Gold is designed to retain its natural patina over time, without turning green through oxidation of the layers. In addition to offering a long-lasting pink hue, it is nickel-free, making it anti-allergic, and iron-free, improving magnetic resistance. Great news for fans of bronze watches and innovative materials! The sandblasted black aluminum dial is adorned with 18K Bronze Gold and PVD hands and blackened hour markers, all coated with vintage Super-LumiNova. The dial is flanked by skeleton hour and minute hands and a lollipop seconds hand. What we love about this version is that it has no date, for perfect symmetry! Other elements, such as the OMEGA logo, are in light-brown decal. This provides a captivating contrast with its burgundy oxalic anodized aluminum bezel and vintage Super-LumiNova-coated diving scale. Finally, there’s a brushed Milanese link bracelet, giving it a very elegant edge!An Omega Calibre 8806This Diver 300M is powered by an Omega 8806 manufacture self-winding movement, visible through its sapphire caseback. Equipped with a Co-Axial escapement, it delivers excellent performance while offering a well-balanced watch for everyday use. In fact, the movement and watch have been tested in accordance with the METAS-approved Master Chronometer certification procedure, guaranteeing the watch’s accuracy between 0 and +5 seconds per day. The caliber is resistant to magnetic fields of up to 15,000 gauss, so you don’t have to worry about the electronic equipment that surrounds us every day. The racketless balance wheel with silicon balance spring beats at a frequency of 25,200 vibrations, a standard frequency providing 55 hours of power reserve.
