The Rallygraf Meca-Quartz Classic Racing School is part of the tradition of YEMA dual counter chronographs. This special edition in black and gold, a nod to the Lotus Formula 1 cars of the 1970s and 1980s, was designed and crafted with our partner from the Classic Racing School. The hour and minute counters and the chronograph function are powered by the Seiko VK64 hybrid caliber. The new polished/brushed bronze PVD steel case, with a diameter of 40 mm and reworked horns, is more prominent on the wrist while retaining its slim 11 mm profile. The rectangular “kick down” pushers and the crown with the embossed Yema logo add a touch of modernity and functionality.The bi-compax dial, with its sub-counters inspired by the dashboards of vintage racing cars, is a true tribute to the history of the Rallygraf. The dial features a gilt finish, with gold lettering and markers, which provide an elegant contrast to the matte black of the dial, in both dark areas and in daylight with reflections. The applied indexes and “Rallye” hands, all coated with Super-LumiNova BGW9, ensure optimal readability in all conditions. The matt aluminum tachymeter bezel, designed for motorsports, allows for accurate calculation of average speeds.The caseback, adorned with the Classic Racing School logo, and the double-domed K1 mineral glass, which accentuates the vintage look of the watch, are evidence of the attention to detail.
